These Viewport devices can be inserted into an existing AMTECO HRFS-275 and larger furnace. Setup takes a few minutes without altering the furnace and can be removed as quickly when needed. The Viewport provides a shuttered visual line of site to the hot zone and test article. The shutter provides closure or governing of the hot zone view while the test article is at temperature. If optical monitoring or measurements are required the high quality sapphire window lens provides a clear optical view of the test article. Interrogations like digital image correlation - DIC can be performed with the use of this Viewport System.
